Andorra has traditionally been an agricultural and livestock country. Tourism is the mainstay of the Andorran economy. There are many facilities for land moves to Andorra because of its geographical location and proximity to Spain, especially to the city of Barcelona.

Its capital is Andorra la Vieja, located in the Pyrenees, between Spain and France. It has a population of 77,506.

The official language of Andorra is Catalan, although due to the diversity of its population, Spanish, French and Portuguese are also commonly used.
